The writ petition has been filed for the following reliefs :-
"(i) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to make payment of compensation for the land which was illegally taken by the respondents for construction of building of Kotwali Fatehgarh, District Farrukhabad.
(ii) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no.2/3 to decide the representation dated 21.12.2018 filed by petitioner (Annexure No.7 to the writ petition)."
In substance, the petitioners are seeking relief against the private respondents. Since the present disputes relates to the landed property between the petitioners and the private respondents, it cannot be adjudicated upon by this Court in exercise of its powers conferred under Article 226 of the Constitution of India.
In view of the above, we do not see any justification to interfere in the matter.
It is open for the petitioners to seek appropriate remedy and pursue the matter before the concerned court/forum below, in accordance with law.
With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition stands disposed of.
