The writ petition has been filed for the following reliefs :-
"(i) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing and commanding the respondent authority to grant license in favour of petitioner for running saw mill pursuant to the application dated 13.7.2018 made by him expeditiously."
After arguing the matter for quite some time, learned counsel for the petitioner has confined his arguments to the extent that the application of the petitioner dated 13.7.2018 (annexed as Annexure No.2 to the writ petition) pending before the respondents' authority be decided within stipulated time.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this writ petition is finally disposed of with a direction to the concerned authority to make all endeavours to consider and decide the application of the petitioner dated 13.7.2018, for granting of license, in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
