Heard learned counsel for the revisionist and learned A.G.A. for the State.
Learned counsel for the revisionist submits that after hearing the parties vide an order 20.08.2007 an amount of Rs.1000/- per month by way of maintenance under Section 125 Cr.P.C. was awarded to opposite party no.2, against which she filed an application u/s 127 Cr.P.C. for enhancement of maintenance. The said application has come to be partly allowed vide order impugned dated 19.05.2018 enhancing the monthly maintenance from Rs.1000/- to Rs.2000/-. This order enhancing maintenance has been challenged by the revisionist in this revision.
The Court has perused the order impugned. Looking to the fact of sharp rise in the price index, and, also the fact that the income of the revisionist has increased, in the opinion of this Court, the court below has rightly enhanced the maintenance.
No case for interference with the impugned order is made out. Accordingly, this Revision fails and is dismissed.
