1. It appears from the record that by an order dated 12.3.2012, this Court (Coram: K.S. Jhaveri, J.) has issued notice making it returnable on 22.3.2012. Even though served, the respondent did not appear and hence, the following order was passed on 28.3.2012.
"Though served none appears for the respondent.
Rule returnable on 08.05.2012. In the meantime, ad-interim relief in terms of para 9(c) is granted."
2. When the matter was kept on 8.5.2012, even on that day, no one appeared and in the interest of justice, the matter was kept today.
3. Even today, no one appears on behalf of the respondent, neither any appearance is filed. Hence, the ad-interim relief granted earlier vide order dated 28.3.2012 in terms of Para 9(c) is confirmed as interim relief till final disposal of this petition.
4. As the issue involved in the present petition is at the interim stage of pendency of the proceedings before the Presiding Officer, Labour Court, Surat and hence, it will be open for the petitioner to press for interim relief on the next date of hearing i.e. on 18.6.2012.
5. The petitioner shall serve a copy of this order upon the respondent. Direct service is permitted.
