The petitioner is a Male Constable in U.P. Police and is posted at Budaun. His wife is also in U.P. Police and is working at Firozabad. In terms of the transfer policy of the State dated 29.03.2018, petitioner had already represented for posting in the same station where his wife is posted. Such application has not been considered so far, and therefore, petitioner is before this Court. It is also stated that the Senior Superintendent of Police has also forwarded the claim of the petitioner on 21.5.2018.
Learned standing counsel submits that petitioner's claim shall be considered by the competent authority in terms of the transfer policy.
In the facts and circumstances of the case, noticed above, this petition stands disposed of permitting the petitioner to represent in the matter before the respondent no. 2 annexing all material in support of his claim, along with certified copy of this order, within two weeks from today. In case such representation is made, the same shall be dealt with in terms of the transfer policy within a further period of two months, thereafter.
