Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Pranjal Mehrotra who appears for the State respondents.
The petitioner is aggrieved by the corrigendum issued on 1.9.2017 to its order dated 4.8.2017 saying that there was a typographical error therein and appointment of the petitioner in under Dying- in-Harness Rules is yet to be made.
I have carefully perused the earlier order dated 4.8.2017. There is a specific mention therein that the petitioner has not completed formalities with regard to the service, he had to submit all certificates regarding his claim. The petitioner now says that he has submitted all the certificates as are necessary and appointment letter has still not been issued although one year has lapsed, the petitioner has approached this Court because of delay in giving compassionate appointment to him.
This Court therefore disposes of this writ petition with a direction to the respondents to issue appointment letter to him on completion of all formalities in pursuance of earlier decisions taken by it on 4.8.2017 and 1.9.2017 within a period of three months from the date a certificate copy of this order is produced before the Authority concerned.
