JUDGMENT / ORDER

Being aggrieved of Exts.P1&P2 assessment orders passed by the 1st respondent for the months of March, 2014 and April, 2014 respectively, the petitioner has already preferred Exts.P3&P4 appeals along with Exts.P5&P6 petitions for condoning the delay and Exts.P7&P8 petitions for stay, which are pending consideration before the 2nd respondent. The grievance of the petitioner is that without any regard to the pendency of the above proceedings, the respondents are proceeding with coercive steps, as borne by Exts.P9 & P10 demand notices. Though the petitioner has approached the 1st respondent by filing Exts.P11 & P12 applications, which is still to be considered and hence this writ petition.
2. Heard the learned Government Pleader as well.
3. Considering the facts and circumstances, the second respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders on Exts.P5&P6 petitions for condoning the delay and Exts.P7&P8 petitions for W.P.(C) No.33105 of 2014 2 stay, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within 'one month' from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. Coercive proceedings pursuant to Exts.P9&P10 notices shall be kept in abeyance till such time.
Petitioner shall produce a copy of this judgment, along with a copy of the writ petition, before the second respondent, for further steps.
The Writ Petition is disposed of.
