Judgment: (per the Hon’ble the Chief Justice Sri Kalyan Jyoti Sengupta)
We dismiss the writ appeal at the admission stage as we find that the learned trial Judge has not decided anything independently. Rather, the writ petition was disposed of only on the basis of a judgment rendered in Writ Petition No. 23750 of 2001 and the batch, dated 19.7.2005.
However, it would be open for the appellants to take steps in accordance with law, if so advised.
Consequently, the miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall also stand closed. No order as to costs.
