Petitioner was initially appointed as a worker in the year 2006. He was subsequently promoted to the post of Driver on 3rd July, 2010. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the grade pay for the promoted post of Driver is Rs. 2600/- but the authorities continue to pay him salary in the previous grade pay of Rs. 1900/-. Submission is that repeated letters and representations made in that regard have not been addressed and hence this writ petition.
Sri Ankit Saran, learned counsel for the respondent nos. 2 to 4 states that the grievance of the petitioner would be examined in accordance with law.
In that view of the matter, this writ petition stands disposed of with a direction upon the respondent no. 4 to examine petitioner's claim with reference to applicable service rules as also the relevant administrative instructions and pass a reasoned order, within a period of three months, from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order before him.
