It appears that petitioner's claim for promotion has been overlooked on account of censure entry. It is stated that the censure entry has been set aside by the Additional Director General of Police, Kanpur Zone, Kanpur vide order dated 20.4.2019. Submission is that petitioner's claim has been arbitrarily ignored.
Learned Standing Counsel submits that facts would be verified and an appropriate decision would be taken by the competent authroity, in accordance with law.
In the facts and circumstances, noticed above, this writ petition stands disposed of permitting the petitioner to approach respondent no.3 by making a comprehensive representation in respect of his grievance, noticed above, alongwith certified copy of this order, annexing all materials in support of his claim, within a period of three weeks from today. In case such a claim is raised, the same shall be examined by the authority concerned and an appropriate order would be passed, in accordance with law, within a further period of three months thereafter.
