JUDGMENT / ORDER

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents, apart from perusing the record. Since the issue lies in a narrow compass, this Court proposes to dispose of the writ petition at the admission stage itself. 2. The petitioners, who are working as the Lower Primary School Assistants or as the Upper Primary School Assistants, as the case may be, in a school under the Corporate management of the 8th respondent, has a grievance that the approval of their appointment were rejected by the respondents 6 and 7 through Ext.P2 series orders. In fact, in the light of the refusal by the authorities to approve their appointments, all of them seem to have filed a statutory appeal before 4th and 5th respondents. Complaining of the non-disposal of the statutory appeals, petitioners filed the present writ petition.
3. A perusal of the record reveals that Exts.P3, P3(a), P3(b) and P3(c) appeals are pending before the fourth respondent; Ext.P3(d) appeal is pending before the 5th respondent.
W.P(. C)No.29294 OF 2014 : 2 :
In the facts and circumstances, having regard to the respective submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Pleader for the respondents, this Court, without adverting to the merits of the matter, disposes of the writ petition with a direction to the 4th and 5th respondents to dispose of Ext.P3 series appeals pending before the said authorities in the manner indicated above and pass appropriate orders thereon, as expeditiously as possible, if they have been received and pending.
