Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the State.
This petition has been preferred seeking the following reliefs:-
"Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents to protect the previous pay of the petitioner by counting her previous service in accordance with relevant Government Orders with all consequential benefits.
Issue a further writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents to grant the selection grade and promotional pay to the petitioner after completion of 10 years of her services i.e. with effect from 13-08-2012 in accordance with Government Orders dated 28- 01-1985 amended time to time up to 20.12.2001 with consequential benefits."
Learned Standing Counsel representing the fourth respondents states that the grievance as raised and noticed above shall be examined and a final decision taken with expedition and preferably within four months from the date of presentation of a duly authenticated copy of this order. He further states that the fourth respondent shall proceed in the matter with due notice to the fifth respondent.
Accordingly and without going into the merits or otherwise of the claim of the petitioner, this petition shall stand disposed of in light of the statement noted above.
