Heard Sri Ajit Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Dharmendra Kumar Pandey, learned Standing Counsel put his appearance on behalf of respondent no. 9.
In view of the order proposed to be passed today, notices need not be issued to the respondent nos. 1 to 8.
The petitioner has preferred the present writ petition with the limited prayer to issue a mandamus direct the Settlement Officer of Consolidation Aligarh/respondent no. 9 to decide the Appeal No. 127 of 2007 (New no. 13 of 2019) (Bhagwan Devi Vs Sunahari Lal and others).
In the facts and circumstances of the case, without entering into the merits of the case the writ petition is disposed of with the direction to the respondent no. 9 to decide the appeal no. 127 of 2007, expeditiously and preferably within a period of six months from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
