Learned counsel for the petitioner prays for and is granted liberty to correct the array of parties. He says that a typographical error has occurred in the address of the respondent no. 2 - Nagar Nigam, Moradabad arrayed as a party, he may do so during the course of day.
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Brijesh Ojha who appears for the Nagar Nigam, Moradabad.
The petitioner prays for a mandamus to be issued to the respondents to decide his claim for regularisation on the post of Safai Karmchari as he has worked continuously from the date of his initially engagement i.e. 29.7.1991 till date.
Learned counsel for the petitioner says that the Government has issued an order dated 24.7.2016 and again on 3.1.2017 which are applicable even to Nagar Nigam employees. The petitioner has already made representations on 17.3.2017 and again on 22.5.2018 to the respondents, the same is lying undisposed of .
Without entering into the merits of the controversy, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no. 2 to look into the grievance of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders thereon within a period of three months.
