The cause of the petitioner is relating to the steps which are to be taken by the state and other local bodies to control the fever of Dengue, which as per the petitioner is nothing but an epidemic.
It is stated that the State Government is having no definite policy to ensure protection of people from the disease such as Chickengunia, and Japanese fever, which is spreading due to Japanese Encephalitis.
Learned Standing Counsel as well as learned counsel appearing on behalf of Nagar Nigam wants some time to file a counter to the petition for writ.
Time prayed for is allowed.
