In this petition, the petitioner has prayed for issuance of a suitable direction to the police authorities to register FIR against the accused persons.
On the previous date, State counsel took time to seek instructions and today when the case is taken up, the State counsel submits that the FIR has been registered against three named persons and some unknown persons, under Sections 452, 307 of IPC. According to the State counsel there remains nothing in this petition.
At this stage, counsel for the petitioner submits that he had suffered gunshot injury but on account of non registration of a criminal case against any of the accused, no doctor is removing the bullets from the body of the petitioner. In reply to this, State counsel submits that once offence has been registered against the accused persons, he can go to any of the district hospitals and get himself operated.
Considering the life threat to the petitioner and further considering the fact that bullets are in his body since 24.07.2019, he is directed to approach surgical department of Swaroop Rani Medical College, Prayagraj and in the said event, it is expected from the doctors to act in accordance with law.
The petition is accordingly, disposed of.
In case the petitioner finds any further difficulty, he would be at liberty to approach the S.H.O. Dhoomanganj, Prayagraj and it is expected from the police authority to assist the petitioner.
