JUDGMENT / ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by M.JAICHANDREN, J. ] Heard the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents. 2 This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed by the petitioner, seeking direction to the respondents to produce her husband, Umanath, son of Jegadeesan, aged about 33 years, before this Court and to set him at liberty.
3 At this stage of the hearing of the Habeas Corpus Petition, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor had submitted that the detenu had been arrested, on 24.1.2017, relating to Crime No.77 of 2017, on the file of the Chromepet Police Station, for the offences under Sections 147, 148 and 302 of the Indian Penal Code and remanded by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Tambaram, on 25.1.2017, and that he had been lodged in the Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai.
4 In such circumstances, this Court is of the considered view that no further orders are necessary in the present Habeas Corpus Petition. Hence, the Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
