The sole prayer of the petitioner is that the Election Petition being Election Petition No.T202116660103154 of 2021 (Suman vs. Shamya & Ors.) under section 12(Ga) of U.P. Panchayat Raj Act, 1947 pending in the Court of Prescribed Authority/Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Robertsganj, District Sonbhadra be decided expeditiously.
Learned Standing Counsel states that all endeavour shall be made to decide the aforesaid election petition.
Without going into the merits of the case, it is directed that the Election Petition No.T202116660103154 of 2021 (Suman vs. Shamya & Ors.) be decided within a period of six months from the date when the notice was served upon the private parties. The copy of this order shall be duly certified by the learned counsel for the petitioner.
The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
