Petitioner had resigned from the post of constable in U.P. Police in the year 2002. His resignation was accepted.
It appears that after about 15 years, an application has been made for his reinstatement in service. This application has not been considered and, therefore, the petitioner is before this Court.
Petitioner opposed by learned Standing Counsel.
Once, the resignation of petitioner was accepted in the year 2002, there is no justification for directing petitioner's application for being reinstated in service, now. No rule or provision has been shown where under such an application could be filed.
Dismissed, accordingly.
