ORDER:
Petitioner filed a complaint on the basis of which a case in Cr.No.807 of 2013 was registered on 09.12.2013 before the third respondent but alleging that there is no progress with regard to the investigation, the present writ petition is filed.
2. Learned Assistant Government Pleader has received instructions, which states that the third respondent already examined four witnesses including the complainant and prima facie, the evidence discloses that A1 has committed the offence mentioned in the FIR.
It is, however, stated that efforts to apprehend A1 have not produced any result as the complainant as well as A1 are residing in Bihar State and their marriage took place in Bihar State. The third respondent also states that he has obtained permission from the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Malkajgiri Zone, Cyberabad to arrest A1 and a separate team is constituted to trace out A1 and to apprehend him. It is further stated that the investigation is pending for want of arrest of A1 and for collection of material evidence. It is, however, assured to the Court that investigation will be completed as expeditiously as possible and appropriate report will be filed before the jurisdictional Court at the earliest.
3. Recording the said progress in the investigation so far and the assurance on behalf of the third respondent, except directing the third respondent to complete the investigation as expeditiously as possible, no further orders are called for in this writ petition.
The writ petition is disposed of. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
