This writ petition is filed seeking police protection.
2. Petitioner submits that the 6th respondent being a money lender had advanced certain amounts to him and is now threatening him and his family and is trying to forcibly evict him from his residential building.
3. Counter affidavit has been filed by the 6th respondent inter alia contending that the petitioner's wife had sold the property in favour of the 6th respondent without disclosing an outstanding loan payable to the bank.
4. Whatever be the dispute between the parties in respect of the property, in so far as there is no offence committed nor attempt to commit any offence, request for police protection cannot be granted. The parties are at liberty to approach the civil court for appropriate reliefs, as far as the dispute in respect of the property is concerned.
With the above observation, this writ petition is closed.
