JUDGMENT / ORDER

The relief sought for in the original petition is for a direction for expeditious disposal of I.A.No.5510/2010 in O.S.No.428/2004 pending before the 3rd Additional Munsiff Court, Thiruvananthapuram. 2. The suit was one for partition and preliminary decree was passed. In pursuance to the preliminary decree, final decree proceedings were initiated and this Court is given to understand that steps are complete. The matter is getting prolonged under one pretext or another. The petitioner therefore prays that there may be a direction to the court concerned to take up the matter and dispose of it as expeditiously as possible.
3. In the light of the order that is proposed to be passed, it is felt that notice to the respondents is unnecessary.
This Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the 3rd Additional Munsiff Court, Thiruvananthapuram to take up O.P.(C) No.2708/2014 2 I.A.No.5510/2010 in O.S.No.428/2004 as early as possible and dispose of it in accordance with law within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
