Heard Sri Vimal Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned AGA and perused the impugned F.I.R, as well as material brought on record.
The relief sought in this petition is for quashing of the F.I.R, dated 19.4.2018 registered as Case Crime No. 187 of 2018, under sections 147, 148, 323, 504, 332, 353, 342, 427 IPC and 7 Criminal Law Amendment Act, P.S. Saurikh, District Kannauj.
The FIR itself alleges that it is against 30-40 unnamed persons, which cannot be quashed only on the ground that the name of petitioner surfaced in the statement of one of the co-accused, cognizable offence is disclosed, writ petition is liable to be dismissed.
The writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed.
