JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner has submitted Ext.P3 application for regular permit on the route Azhikkal Ferry-Puthiyatheru Mandapam-Kannur HQ Hospital. It is stated that there is no stage carriage conducting service on the route. The route traverses through an ill served area in the sector. The petitioner has also submitted Ext.P4 application for temporary permit on the very same route. 2. The learned Government Pleader on instructions submits that in this case a report has been called for from the Joint RTO and on receipt of the same the application would be considered.
In view of the above, this writ petition is disposed of with the following directions:
(I) The second respondent shall consider Ext.P3 application for regular permit, in accordance with law and pass appropriate -2-
W.P.(C). No. 14109 of 2014 orders thereon as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within two months of the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
(II) The first respondent shall consider Ext.P4 application for temporary permit on the very same route and shall pass appropriate orders in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible at any rate within a period of two weeks of the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
