The petitioners claim to have filed separate applications under Right to Information Act before the Regional Secretary/Information Officer, Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad, Uttar Pradesh, Varanasi for being shown answer sheets of certain papers of Intermediate Examination 2018. Since the copies have not been shown to them, they have filed the instant petition seeking a direction to provide them the required information and for a further direction to re-evaluate the answer books.
At this stage, this Court is not inclined to entertain the prayer in so far as it relates to re-evaluation of the answer books. However, the petitioners definitely have right to look into their answer books.
Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of by directing respondent no.3 to ensure that the answer books are shown to the petitioners within a period of three weeks from the date of production of a certified copy of this order.
