Sudheer @ Anni Sudheer vs State Of Kerala

High Court Of Kerala|06 May, 2014

JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the Judicial First Class Magistrate Court, Varkala to consider and pass orders on the bail application filed by him on the date of surrender itself. On hearing the learned counsel and on a perusal of the case records, I do not find the necessity of such a direction. It is submitted that the offences are bailable. The court probably issued warrant when the petitioner failed to appear before the court. The offences being bailable, he can very well surrender before the learned Magistrate and seek regular bail. This Court does not think that the learned Magistrate will unjudiciously pass orders when the offences are bailable. Hence the Crl.M.C. is closed.
