Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.
This writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:-
"(i) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no. 1 to decide the Appeal no. 2/2012 as well as Computerized Case No. C20120500001875 Chandrabali Vs. Subhawati and others within stipulated period framed by this Hon'ble Court."
It is stated that an appeal arising out of a suit for partition under Section 176 of the U.P. Zamindari Abolition and Land Reforms Act is pending consideration since the year 2012.
Under the circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no. 1 to decide the case as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four months from the date a certified copy of this order is filed before him.
