Learned Standing Counsel on instruction states that the caste certificate which was submitted by the petitioner bears a date which was subsequent to the last date prescribed in the advertisement, namely, 17th February, 2016. According to him the petitioner was consequently, treated under the general category and since he did not obtain marks equal to the cut off fixed for that category, his name was not considered. Keeping in mind the aforesaid disclosure and the principles enunciated by the Full Bench of the Court in Gaurav Sharma Vs. State of U.P. and others 2017 (5) ADJ 994, the Court finds no ground to entertain the writ petition further.
Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed.
