It is stated that petitioner retired from the post of Lecturer in Government Girls Inter College, Fatehpur on 30.6.2010. Grievance is that though Sixth Pay Commission report had been implemented w.e.f. 1.1.2006, but benefit thereof has not been extended to petitioner till he retired in the year 2010. In respect of such grievance, petitioner has approached the authorities concerned, but no decision has yet been taken. Hence, this petition.
Learned Standing Counsel submits that petitioner's grievance shall be examined, in accordance with law.
Perusal of the record would go to show that respondent no.4 has already forwarded the claim of petitioner to respondent no.3 on 22.12.2016, but thereafter no order appears to have been passed.
In the facts and circumstances, this writ petition stands disposed of with a direction upon the respondent no.3 to accord consideration to petitioner's claim, and in case it is found that the matter requires consideration of any higher authority, he shall remit the same, within a period of four weeks from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order. The competent authority in the matter shall examine the claim of petitioner within a further period of six weeks, thereafter. The amount which is found due and payable shall be released to the petitioner within a further period of two months thereafter.
