Claim of the petitioner has already been rejected by this Court on 9.8.2017 in writ petition no. 29186 of 2017, against which a special appeal was also dismissed on 29th January, 2018.
The status, on facts, continues to remain the same, inasmuch as, the appeal is pending and the conviction has not been reversed. It appears that petitioner again filed a writ petition and his claim has been rejected by the order impugned.
As a matter of fact after special appeal was dismissed, there was no occasion for any fresh consideration of petitioner's cause. The order of Executive Engineer merits no interference.
The writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed.
