In view of the instructions obtained by the learned Standing Counsel it becomes clear that the vehicle no.UP 65-B 3439 is not in operative condition. It is also not denied that the petitioner has moved an application on 30.03.2015 for cancellation of his registration but no orders have been passed on it.
The authority concerned is directed to pass appropriate orders on the application of the petitioner within a period of one month from the date of production of a certified copy of this order before it. Certified copy of this order may be placed before the authority concerned within the next one week.
For a period of one month or till the orders are passed on the application of the petitioner no coercive action may be taken against the petitioner.
The Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
