The prayer made in the instant petition is for issuing direction to the trial court to decide Original Suit No. 2354 of 1991 within a specified time frame.
A perusal of the order-sheet reveals that on 03.01.2019 the proceedings got adjourned as the Presiding Officer was on training. The order-sheet of the subsequent period has not been filed.
In case the Presiding Officer has resumed charge of his office, after completing the training, it is desirable that he should proceed in the matter with a sense of expedition having regard to the fact that the suit is of the year 1991. It shall be ensured that no unnecessary adjournment shall be granted to the parties.
