The petitioners have submitted applications for building permits to the 2nd respondent. They have been acknowledged receipts of by Exts.P5 and P5(a). The petitioners seek the issue of appropriate directions for the consideration thereof. 2. Senior Counsel Sri. N. Nandakumara Menon appears for the respondents.

Since the applications submitted by the petitioners are pending consideration of the 2nd respondent, it is sufficient that this writ petition is disposed of directing the applications to be considered. It is also pointed out that, Exts.P2, P3 and P4 are building permits issued to similar properties.
4. In view of the above, this writ petition is disposed of, directing the 2nd respondent to consider the applications for building permits submitted by the petitioners in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders thereon, as expeditiously as possible and at any W.P.C. No.17677 of 2014 2 rate, within a period of one month of the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
