The present writ petition has been filed praying for a writ of mandamus commanding the District Magistrate, District- Kushinagar, i.e., respondent No. 2 to grant arm licence to the petitioner.
The petitioner has appeared in person and is a practising Advocate in this Court. The prayer is not maintainable inasmuch as no mandamus as prayed in the writ petition can be granted.
The writ petition is dismissed.
