JUDGMENT / ORDER

This writ petition has been preferred challenging the Circular dated 07.07.2016 issued by the third respondent, whereby and whereunder, the petitioner has been informed that within the total sanctioned admission strength for the academic year 2016-2017, 35% of the seats is allotted under the Management quota and that communal reservation as per Government norms should be scrupulously followed in respect of Management quota as well in the ratio of 65:35.
2 At the threshold, it is pertinent to point out that after the filling of this writ petition, the first respondent has granted minority status to the petitioner institution vide G.O. (D) No.250, Agriculture (AU) Department dated 24.10.2016, in pursuance of which, automatically, the ratio becomes 50:50. By virtue of the said Government Order dated 24.10.2016, this writ petition becomes infructuous.
Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. However, it is open to the petitioner to pursue its remedy, if it is aggrieved by the prospective status given by virtue of the Government Order dated 24.10.2016. No costs. Connected W.M.P. is closed.
