JUDGMENT / ORDER

Ramachandra Menon, J.
Being aggrieved of judgment dated 28.02.2003 in O.P. No.5665 of 1993, the State has approached this Court by filing this Writ Appeal, along with a petition to condone the delay of 2720 days.
2. The 3rd respondent has filed a counter affidavit in the application seeking condonation of delay. On going through the contents of the petition to condone the delay, we find that the delay from 2003 to 2008 has has never been explained in the affidavit. Same is the position with regard to the period from 2009 to 2011. We do not find any reasonable ground to condone the inordinate delay of 2720 days. Accordingly, the application to condone the delay is dismissed. Consequently, the appeal also stands dismissed.
Manjula Chellur, Chief Justice.
P.R. Ramachandra Menon, Judge.
