This appeal is filed by the State aggrieved by the judgment and decree in L.A.R. No.166/09 of the IInd Additional Sub Court, Thiruvananthapuram. The land was acquired for the widening of Karamana-Killipalam Road Reach No.II. The notification under Section 4 (1) was issued on 3.8.1998. It is a case where the Land Acquisition Officer awarded the land value at the rate of Rs. 1,64,673/- per are. This was enhanced to 6 lakhs by the reference court by relying upon Annexure A1 common judgment in L.A.R. No. 51,25 and 45 of 2003.
2. We heard the learned Government Pleader for the appellant and learned counsel for the respondents.
3. This Court in the judgment in L.A.A. 132/2011 has confirmed the land value at the rate of Rs.6,10,000/- in respect of the property acquired for the same purpose and it was L.A.A. No.23 of 2014 :2:
covered by the same notification. In that view of the matter, there is no scope for interference of the judgment of the reference court and accordingly, the appeal is dismissed. No costs.
