1. RULE.
Mr. Nikhil S. Kariel, learned advocate for the opponent waives service of Rule on behalf of the opponent.
2. Considering the issue involved in this application and with consent of learned advocates appearing for the parties, this application is taken up for final disposal forthwith.
3. Considering the prayers prayed for, what is contended by the applicants is that as per the directions issued by this Court vide order dated 6.3.2012 passed in Special Civil Application No.2952 of 2012, the applicants require further time till 15.7.2012.
4. Mr.
Kariel, learned advocate for the opponent submitted that as per the directions issued in para 7 of the aforesaid order, the opponent has approached with an application within the stipulated time of one week. Still however, in the interest of justice, the extension of time limit as prayed for may be granted.
5. In view of the above, the time limit to decide the application of the opponent is extended upto 15.7.2012. It is, however, made clear that if no decision is taken latest by 15.7.2012, it will be open for the opponent to revive the earlier petition.
6. With these observations, the application is allowed to the aforesaid extent only with no order as to costs. Rule is made absolute in the above terms.
