1.0 Learned advocate Mr. KB Pujara for the petitioners states the authorities have paid the substantial amount and now, according to the original petitioners, the only grievances survive: i) about benefits under the 6th Pay Commission and ii) interest for the delayed payment from the date of retirement from 28th February 2009 to 28th October 2010.
2.0 Learned Assistant Government Pleader Mr. Shukla states that, according to the authorities, 6th Pay Commission benefits are given to the petitioners.
3.0 The authorities to explain to the petitioners as to in what manner the benefits of the 6th Pay Commission are given.
3.1 So far as the interest is concerned, there is no dispute that the amount is paid late by almost 20 months and for that, it is directed that the authorities shall pay 9% interest on the amount from the date it was payable till the date it is paid.
4.0 The matter is kept on 25th November 2010 to report the payment of interest and also an explanation about the amount of 6th Pay Commission benefits.
