JUDGMENT / ORDER

Hon'ble Dr. Satish Chandra,J.
In this writ petition filed in the year 1986 the State of U.P. has challenged the order of the Tribunal by which a direction was issued to consider petitioner for promotion. Almost 23 years have passed since then. According to the age of the respondent given in the affidavit, he must have retired.
Since the reliefs claimed by the State of UP in this writ petition have become infructuous, the writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous.
