Learned counsel for the State is permitted to correct the word injured in place of deceased in paragraph no. 2 of the memo of appeal.
This appeal challenges the judgment in MACP No. 71 of 1991 decided by the Tribunal awarding a sum of Rs.20,000/- to the injured Suraiya Begum. A cluster of three claim petitions were filing and it is only against the award in 71 of 1991 that this appeal is preferred.
Without going into details the Tribunal has granted, it has awarded the amount considering the fact that the injured had a fractured . She was hospitalized for four to five days then she went to Rampur and she was bedridden for six months. The Tribunal has therefore considered all these aspect and granted Rs.5,000/- under the head of medical expenses and Rs.15,000/- under all other heads.
On the smallness of amount and on the fact that no future loss of income was considered or granted. This appeal will have to fail and is dismissed.
