JUDGMENT / ORDER

IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT HYDERABAD FOR THE STATE OF TELANGANA & THE STATE OF ANDHRA PRADESH (Special Original Jurisdiction) WEDNESDAY, THE THIRTEENTH DAY OF AUGUST TWO THOUSAND AND FOURTEEN PRESENT THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE VILAS V. AFZULPURKAR WRIT PETITION No. 21278 of 2014 BETWEEN L.Hari Rao AND ... PETITIONER The State of Telangana, Rep. by its Principal Secretary (Department of Revenue), A.P. Secretariat Building, Hyderabad and others.
...RESPONDENTS The Court made the following:
ORDER:
Heard.
2. The grievance of the petitioner in this writ petition is that in spite of making two representations, dated 04.01.2014 and 26.02.2014, Exs.P2 and P1 respectively, petitioner’s request for grant of pattadar passbooks with regard to Survey No.257 and 262 of Kalan Village, Ibrahimpatnam Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, was not being considered by respondent No.2.
3. Learned Government Pleader, who was required to get instructions, submits, on that basis, that petitioner has merely filed representations, whereas as per the A.P. Record of Rights in Land and Pattadar Passbooks Act, 1971 and the Rules framed thereunder, petitioner is required to make appropriate application under Form 6A r/w Rules 18 and 19 of the Rules.
In view of that, writ petition is disposed of giving liberty to the petitioner to make such appropriate application by paying the requisite fees, in accordance with the Rules. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
