JUDGMENT / ORDER

~~~~~~~~~~~ This application is filed to condone delay of 557 days in filing the appeal. The respondent, the petitioner in the Writ Petition, has filed a counter affidavit controverting the averments in the affidavit filed in support of the delay petition. 2. We heard the learned Government Pleader appearing for the petitioners and the learned counsel for the respondent. A perusal of the affidavit filed in support of the petition shows that the reasons to condone the delay are purely administrative in nature, which are totally unsatisfactory. That apart, the explanation offered is also vague and general and does not deal with each and every date delay which is required to be explained by the petitioners. Therefore, we are not satisfied that the petitioners have made out satisfactory ground for condoning the long and inordinate delay of 557 days in filing the appeal. Accordingly, delay condonation petition is dismissed.
W.A.No.1168/2010 2 In view of the dismissal of delay condonation petition, this appeal is also dismissed.
