JUDGMENT / ORDER

Petitioners are accused 1, 2 and 4 in Crime No.351 of 2014 of the Pulikeezhu Police Station for the offences punishable under Sections 143, 147, 148, 294(b), 323, 324, 308 r/w Section 149 of the Indian Penal Code, apprehend arrest and have filed the application.
2. Learned Public Prosecutor has opposed the application. It is submitted that due to political rivalry to petitioners and others attacked the de facto complainant and others with iron pipe, nanjak etc on 02.04.2014 at about 11.00 p.m. A sword stick also is involved. The weapons are not recovered. It is further submitted that the petitioners 1 and 3 are involved in 4 other crimes.
3. Learned counsel submits that the first petitioner is a lawyer and a political leader. Petitioners 1 and 3 are falsely implicated in several cases due to political rivalry. Further submission is that the de facto complainant or others have not sustained any serious injuries.
4. Having regard to the nature of allegations, investigation required to be done and antecedents referred above, request for pre-arrest bail cannot be allowed. The

2 petitioners can either surrender before the investigating officer or the Court concerned and seek appropriate relief.
Application is disposed of as above.
