JUDGMENT / ORDER

Manjula Chellur, C.J.
Petitioner has approached this Court seeking following reliefs:
“i. To issue a writ of mandamus, order or other appropriate direction directing the respondents 2 and 3 to give adequate, necessary and sufficient police protection to the life and property of the petitioner and his family members from the illegal acts of the respondents 4 to 7 and their henchmen;
ii. To issue any other writ or order as this Court may deem fit in the facts and circumstances of the case.”
2. The dispute seems to be between two brothers over the right of pathway existed between the properties of the parties. Actually the suit is fought between two brothers and plaintiff brother is no more and his children are brought on record as legal representative in the suit. According to petitioner, children of his brother are harassing his children who are college going students, therefore, some protection must be accorded to them.

3. Learned State Attorney submits, already a crime is registered as Crime No.447 of 2012 by Pothencode police station not only against the brother but also against his children. After investigation, charge sheet is also filed. After the death of brother, so far as the case against his children, it will not come to an end. According to State Attorney, there is no law and order situation of any nature complained either by the petitioner or the residents of the locality. If there are threats to the life of children of the petitioner, he is at liberty to lodge a complaint and same shall be looked into by police concerned and do the needful.
With the above observations, the Writ Petition is closed.
