JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner merely raises a challenge against Ext.P3 order of the first appellate authority, wherein, the petitioner has been directed to pay 25% of the demand and furnish adequate security to the satisfaction of the assessing authority for the balance amounts within three weeks of the receipt of the order. Admittedly, the petitioner has not paid the said amounts. The petitioner also does not produce the assessment order, which disables this Court from even making a prima facie consideration of the case put forward by the petitioner in appeal. The petitioner's counsel prays for an expeditious disposal of the appeal which is not possible since the first appellate authority has to take up matters in the order, in which it has been filed. 2. In such circumstance, if the petitioner wants to avail of the stay granted by the first appellate authority in W.P.(C) No. 13876 of 2014 2 Ext.P3, the petitioner shall satisfy the amounts stated therein, within a period of two weeks from today. The recovery proceedings shall be kept in abeyance for the said two weeks and on failure of the petitioner to pay the same, necessarily, the recovery proceedings shall be revived.
With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands closed.
