Petitioner has approached this Court alleging that no action has been taken by the 3rd respondent despite him filing an application for renewal of dealers licence in respect of selling, stocking and exhibiting for sale of minor mineral (ordinary sand).
2. In fact, the 3rd respondent, while considering such an application, has obtained necessary information from the District Collector and also from the police. Such issues are matters of enquiry which is also required while adjudicating an application for renewal of licence.
Under these circumstances, having regard to the aforesaid factual situation, there will be a direction to the 3rd respondent to consider the application of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
