JUDGMENT / ORDER

Petitioners, who were provisional employees under the second respondent, were regularised in service, as per Ext.P7 order with effect from 18.11.2011. They challenged Ext.P7 order in this writ petition to the extent it directs that the grant of benefits of permanent employment will be given to them only from the date of regularisation. Ext.P8 is the representation submitted by the petitioners seeking the benefits of permanent employment from the date of their initial appointment. 2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioners agreed that the writ petition can be disposed of directing the second respondent to take a decision on Ext.P8 representation.
In view of the limited prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, the writ petition is disposed of directing the second respondent to consider Ext.P8 representation of the petitioners and take appropriate decision thereon, within two months from the date of W.P.(C).No.28763 of 2013 2 receipt of a copy of this judgment.
