JUDGMENT / ORDER

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for the respondents, apart from perusing the record. Since the issue lies in a narrow compass, this Court proposes to dispose of the writ petition at the admission stage itself. 2. Briefly stated, the petitioner, the Manager of Lal Bahadur Sastri Memorial Higher Secondary School, Avittathur in Thrissur District, filed the present writ petition questioning the action of the respondent authorities in not sanctioning additional post of HSST (Junior), English.
3. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, there are 56 periods available for English during 2012-2013 in the school and that it warrants an additional post of HSST (Junior). The Inspecting Officer, who verified the details during Staff Fixation Order, has admitted the necessity of an W.P.(c) No. 33112 of 2014 2 additional post of HSST (Junior) in the school. Despite such recommendation when sanction is declined, the petitioner is said to have submitted Exhibit P3 revision before the first respondent. Seeking its expeditious disposal, the petitioner filed the present writ petition.
4. In the facts and circumstances, having regard to the respective submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for the respondents, this Court, without adverting to the merits of the matter, disposes of the present writ petition with a direction to the first respondent to consider Exhibit P3 revision of the petitioner in accordance with law, and pass appropriate orders thereon, as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
With the above observation, this writ petition is disposed of.
