The petitioner herein seeks orders quashing a crime under Article 227 of the Constitution of India. Of course, such an order cannot be passed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India. Now, the learned Public Prosecutor submits that investigation in the crime is over, and the police has submitted final report in court. In such a situation, the petitioner can bring proper proceeding for appropriate relief as regards the final report itself. Without prejudice to such right, this original petition can be closed. Accordingly, this original petition is closed, without prejudice to the right of the petitioner to bring proper proceeding challenging the final report as such, if he is aggrieved by the final report.
